Lewis would have leant on him and smothered him in the early rounds.Tyson was easily frustrated when he wasn't having any success,he'd have become more reckless trying to land something on Lewis, and left himself open,Lewis would have started to land the heavy artillery by the middle rounds. Lewis by KO/TKO around the 8th.
Here's where I break from my countrymen. Tyson never beat a good tall fighter. Lewis takes him out late in the bout. One caveat: Tyson did have the ability to take Lewis out with a haymaker early.
But you have to remember fighters have different primes. Look at B-Hop and RJJ. RJJ was light years better than B-Hop in his prime, but right now B-Hop is 47 and would prlly knock Roy out because Roy's prime is over. Also look at Chavez vs De La Hoya. Chavez was 33 but still was way out of his prime, and I doubt Chavez would of lost to De La Hoya in his prime. Also Hasim Rahman and Oliver Mccal knocked out Lennox Lewis. Hasim Rahman was the sloppiest fighter ever and that guy had the power to KO Lewis? Please!! With that glass chin Lewis won't make it to the final bell Once again Mike Tyson by KO in the first 6 rounds This content is protected
I never said it was about power, I'm just saying you can't compare guys like McCall and Rahman to Mike Tyson because Mike Tyson is better in every aspect. I'm pretty sure if Rahman could tag Lewis, Mike with more power would of knocked him out. No need for name calling my friend.
Lennox would win. Tyson wasn't as confident as we all believed. It just wasn't apparent at the time. Find someone, who wasn't afraid of him and he crumbled. Tyson had a punchers chance so he wasn't totally out of the fight. One thing for sure I wouldn't bet on the fight.
Mike by brutal KO. Why do you think Lennox was hiding in England while Tyson was cleaning out the division? Notice how Lennox came to America as soon as Mike went to jail.
Tyson shatters those fragile whiskers early, very early. If ordinary fighters like McCall and Lewis could do it, a prime Tyson would blow this guy away EARLY.
That super fast rush in that Tyson used on everyone for at least 3 rounds would be too much for Lennox. One or two hooks would have him reeling. Body shots would freeze him and Mike would just shatter his glass chin easy.
Its tough to say Lewis could be too big pick him off and lean on him and tire him or Tyson could come in and be too much Lewis was only beaten twice and like Vitali he was rarely losing in a fight and typically was in command he was KO'd two times by one shot and avenged both losses I get the idea Lewis by decision or late KO
