    1988 Tyson would be too much for 95 Lewis. Tyson would use his speed to get
    midrange or inside and unload hooks. Lewis did not have the chin or the ribs
    to survive a Tyson onslaught. Tyson would eat some punches but wins by tko in 3.

    Tyson was never a busy puncher, he was a concussive puncher with a good defense who put together awesome combos but he didn't throw a lot of leather.

    I wouldn't be surprised to see him knock Lennox out if he got to him, but Tyson getting jabbed to death and picked apart over the duration wouldn't shock me either.

    Tyson just didn`t make many mistakes back then,Lewis did in his prime against Rahman,got ko`d.So Tyson `88 ko`s Lewis `95.

    OMG! Again!!!! Tyson from '88 not the 90's Tyson who just got out of jail and lost footwork and coordination, I'm talking about a peak Tyson. Now I am not a huge Tyson fan, but I don't think Buster would of beaten Tyson in '88. Now Hasim Rahman fought Lennox at his best. No excuses he said he trained hard and was in the best shape of his life then got KO'd. That is my whole logic. BTW there are 132 people who disagree with you so I suggest you please stop replying.

    Once again, Mike Tysno by KO in the 6th round or sooner

    Tyson starts getting jabbed then a big right or two crash home or possibly an uppercut and Tyson starts looking for a way out. Lewis then gives it to him via KO in 8-9. Basically just like their actual fight.

    tyson's style was designed by cus damato to go inside and **** up tall fighters to compensate mike's short height...prime tyson eats tall fighters for breakfast...height and reach means nothing to a short fighter on the inside....

    Tyson KO4 Lewis

    Tyson works his way under the jab, getting rocked a few times by uppercuts, but manages to close the distance, works on the inside and obliterates Lewis with dynamite shots to the chin.

    Yes, Lewis would have handled *Prime* TYson as he did the Tyson he faced.

    Lewis was more than ANY verision of Tyson could handle, *prime* or not.

    But he couldn't penetrate a tall fighter with a good world class jab, now could he? Holyfield and Lewis both proved that.

    Tyson, even at his best, just could not deal with someone with reach and who knew how to move and keep him at bay, and pick him apart, as Holy and Lewis BOTH did.

    That's cause the best fighters didn't face him until a couple years later.

    Tyson was at his peak when he was being beaten. He seemed to be past his best to the uninformed eye, not becuase he was slipping, but because he was not allowed to be effective against Holy, Douglas, and Lewis, the way other, lesser fighters allowed him to be.

    Cause and effect.
