Yeah, I'd still watch, I think their styles make for an exciting fight. i wouldn't pay for it but would definitely watch.

It has lost a lot of appeal but Lopez is still a good boxer even if his flaws have been shown on several occasions. Thing is as fast and explosive as Gamboa is, he still has obvious flaws and could easily end up the same way Lopez has by getting beat of a good boxer who isn't a big name.

make Salido-Lopez 2, if he gets revenge then throw them together straight after. If not, well then they can still throw him in but it all depends on which direction Gamboa heads.

and this is why boxing is the way it is nowadays, fans think boxers have to be undefeated when they fight eachother for a fight to be big time.... in the past a lost meant nothing and you could still be consider a top boxer with a loss or two

    :hat

Why? It was Juanma queering around for half a fight and Salido using him as a piƱata.

Juanma has looked like a bum in his all his fights since the Canadian... a bum with a very impressive strength and punching power, that's the only thing that has saved him for so long actually. He has one of the worst defenses in boxing and his technique is crappy. His best defense is blocking offense with his face. Let's not even talk about his speed, he sends you an e-mail notification every time he intends to throw you a punch. Juanma was a product of Arum... Against legit material like Gamboa his life would be in real danger, and I'm not kidding, the number of hits he receives from slow punchers is astonishing. Against a dude like Gamboa who throws like a machine gun he will lose a few years of life in a singe fight.

The reason they never made that fight is obvious, Gamboa would had given Lopez the beating of his life and he was the portorican cow cash at the time...
