Sources have told Maxboxing.com that the rematch between IBF welterweight titlist Kermit Cintron and former WBO belt-holder Antonio Margarito has been made. The rematch will take place on April 12th in Atlantic City and it will be televised on HBO's Championship Boxing underneath the main event featuring WBA welterweight title holder Miguel Cotto's defense against Alfonso Gomez. In 2005, Margarito stopped Cintron in five rounds in a defense of his WBO title in Las Vegas. :hey
I don't think the outcome will be different in this fight. Margarito will impose his will on Cintron and he will wear him out towards the later rounds.
hmmm I think if Cintron can hold his own and fight the distance, I think his power gets to Margarito in the late rounds.
[gus21]I hope Margarito wins so he can have a big win and have a showdown with cotto and knock him out to
I dont know how anyone can give Cintron a chance, he looked horrible in his last fight vs. Feliciano and that was just a stay busy fight. Vs. Margarito he is going to get bullrushed and he cant handle the pressure.
if cintron follows Williams blueprint of jabbing jabbing and throwing a quick staright punch after the jab and then moving he could win but thats a big if ! He certainly doesn't have the heart to go toe to toe with Margarito
Should be a good fight. I would still edge towards Margarita but I can not see it being a blow out. Marge got his ass handed to him against Williams and Cintron has looked to have improved, it will be interesting and hopefully very explosive. Marge by late ko.
This time will be a fight differently and I hope that something good coach told by their boy lately they do choose ko:bbb http://www.boxeo.ws/boxeadores/margarito_antonio/
[gus]Margarito did not get his ass handle buy williams.just because he beat him by points and Margarito did what williams say that he did to him in sparring cut his eye and hurt him to the body he would do more if he started early
