getting caught twice in two different fights out of 42 fights .. Id say that is rare and isolated ..

 

It's not about getting caught in itself -- it's about getting caught while trying to do the same thing against completely different fighters. (The straight right hand to the body, to be specific.) In both cases the other guy was able to anticipate it and counter Floyd, which is odd.

I'm not trying to put Mayweather down...he has some of the best defence I've ever seen. Hell, I don't agree with the thread title either. I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility for Pac to catch Mayweather with a right-hook in a similar situation, though. He seems to be more open than usual when he goes for that straight right hand to the body.
