As for Boxnation there is only the Cotto-Marg card that i really want to see on their schedule and I don't value that fight at £60. Unless they put the schedule up for the next few months with at least one high profile fight I want to see per month then I wont be subscribing.
problem we got is will be it be full of decent fights i cant see him breaking his neck to get a Alverez card late once we all coughed up
I actually think that ordinarily many of the criticisms of PPV shows are perfectly valid. They help make an already niche sport even less accessible. However, I think with the amount of shows we've been getting over the weeks - and the quality of those shows - BoxNation could be worth every penny. £2.50 a week, it's a pittance.
Was going to buy it but there's no 3D option so will have to opt out at this stage. I think Boxnation is taken the **** out of all boxing fans who have already spent out on 3D glasses, this easily foreseen problem should have been sorted out months ago, it's not like the channel has only had a week or 2 to have everything ready for launch night.
BoxNation definitely have no plans to move into HD in the near future. Their picture quality is bad enough as it is on SD. It'll be late 2012 at best for that (and that's if they're still running by then) But overall I think it's good value. So long as the keep picking up the spare cards like Alvarez one this weekend, some big fights like Cotto/Margarito and Frank can put on one genuinely good show at least once a month then I'll be subscribing. **** this 6 month contract though. If there's no good cards by the end of Feb they won't be getting any money from me. :deal
Signed up today. Cotto v Margarito is worth a tenner anyway. Just glad it's finally available on Virgin!
