Is Canelo ready for Kirkland?

This would be a great fight, action the whole time until someone gets ko'ed. I'm not sure who I'd favor, Kirkland will bring the pressure but Alvarez is a better counter-puncher. I would like to see Alvarez face Chavez or Kirkland next.

 

Are you serious? On chin and technique alone Kirkland loses.

 

Kirkland should avoid Alverez, it's the fight he'd be guaranteed to lose. He'd be better off fighting Margarito or Cotto or even Martinez.

 

I'd favor Canelo by TKO, but with James you never can tell, he's a problem for anyone. I like both guys, but would favor Canelo based on greater skill level.

 

I like Kirkland too much to see him fed to Canelo.

Kirklands jaw is pure crystal, but his conditioning under the man/woman Anne Wolfe, is crazy. It'll see him through the big shots from Alvarez, it's like the duct tape put on windows before a hurricane.

 

I like Kirkland as a fighter. But I am going to be honest; Canelo beats Kirkland. Kirkland has a helluva lot of heart, but his chin is still suspect. I think Canelo stops Kirkland.

 

Yeah, He is ready for Kirkland, and like I said in my other post, I think Canelo stops Kirkland.

Kirkland has heart and all of that, but his chin is suspect as hell. He won't be able to do to Canelo what he could to Angulo. I think Canelo is a better fighter than Angulo. If he gets in trouble against Canelo, he will get stopped.

 

Canelo before rnds 6-8. KIrkland after that!
