    he was elluding to David Haye, and his lame attempts to try and force a DQ by falling to the canvas and making it look as though he was being "pushed" down.. How is his comment trolling?

    The way you write Haye off makes no sense. He is a very talented athlet with excellent reflexes and good speed and power. All of his victories has been by KO, save Valuev who was badly wobbled. Only lost twice, to future ATG Wlad and Thompson who he dominated up to the point where he was met with unexpected resistence and went into chock mode. Nothing to wonder about since it was his 10th pro fight. Where still swinging when the fight was stopped.

    Against Wlad he dived in over and over again, but Wlad nullified him and made him look stupid. Wlads defence is what has made him prevail this well. Thats what he displayed against Haye.


    We are on the same page here. All I am saying is that it is pointless to compare since the Briggs Vitali fought was no longer competitive. I dont rate that victory at all.

    I agree. But this thread is about Wlad only, as stated in the headline and opening post.

    As I recall it he was stopped on his feets. But you might confuse him with RJJ?

    I agree in the modern era that anyone who is in their prime after 60 fights is doing very well.

    Another is Pac Man, who is probably still at his prime and has just had his 59th fight. Not to mention JMM, who just had his 60th fight too.
