He knows how it is to be promoted by Arum, he was promoted by him for many many years before he became "his own boss". Why do you think Delahoya got out there and Mayweather, and as soon as they did, they got way more loot and Arum hated them for life.

 

DLH continued working with Arum till long after he left him. They left because they were the egotistical (undeniable) and greedy (undeniable) type that felt they didn't owe any promoter a % to maximise what they could get. DLH had this great hype behind him and used to it to start his own company, Floyd had his unquestionable skills and was lucky he met Al Haymon who has a lot of pull with HBO. Great if a fighter can do that, but not every fighter can. Pac probably could but he's a different character altogether, he's a grateful and generous guy who isn't consumed by a love of making money like them. If Arum did rob FLoyd, Floyd's still would have no idea of what the exact situation is with Pac and what he's getting paid and what he's not.

 

Pac would get paid way more if he left Arum and got with the right people.

That depends. If he has to buy out his contract for a fortune, there's no point as he wouldn't have many fights left with him being serious about a political career. Pac has alot on his plate as it is and it also takes the ambition and drive to be your own man. Pac does not seem to have or crave that and is content to stay with what works, what helped him go from 1-2 million dollar paydays to 15-20 million. Sometimes the grass is not greener on the other side. Ask Roy Jones. You think he would not have been better off with a company like Top Rank promoting him? If memory serves me right he did things his own way from early on in his career and is still fighting because he needs money well past his prime.
