Chazz Witherspoon? All America really has is a couple old guys who we might see get a shot at a title sometime soon, Ruiz, Mccall, Rahman, Briggs can get a shot at anytime, especially if Don King gets involved with them.

I guess we're about to see in a minute. I've never seen him fight. I admit I lost most of my interest in heavyweights when Lennox retired. I stumble up on a fight now and then unless Wlad is fighting. I make sure I catch him.

    I really hope not.

  11. If he's the best the US has to offer the U.S won't have a champ for a very long time:lol:
Kids in the U.S are lazy as ****, and the one's that are willing to excel at sports either play hoop, or Football, those 2 sports are Marketed towards the HIP-HOP crowd, and let's face it, getting smashed in the head, isn't a pleasant thought for a kid trying to make it as in Athlete..

I really dont understand why young American athletes ignore boxing. The elite-level boxers make in one night's work what elite-level players in the NBA/NFL make in an entire season

Only the top level boxers make any real money, plus who wants to get there head banged in just to possibly make it big. I think another big reason seems to be that alot of boxing gyms are being closed down and being replaced by fight leagues that cater to the MMA crowd, which is growing heavily in the states.

The best American heavyweights are Chambers and Thompson. Brock is a notch below them both, as is Arreola.

Come on America, isnt it time to go looking in the ghetto for another champ? Call it "Ghetto Warrior" and search the nation for that nasty uneducated thug that can bring the belts back to the states.
