    Actually, jimmy lennon jnr tweeted "RIP sad news" (i got his tweet mixed up but the thought and condolence was still there from jimmy). I alerted him that wasnt the case with shannon.

    Hope for his family sake he pulls through and then leaves the drugs alone for good.

    Good to hear he's still in there.

    I really feel sorry for him not only has he got this fight on his hands but because he is an identity media wont give him or his family space. i'd imagine it would make it a little more difficult to get over.

    as a boxer he was shot to bits, but as a Fighter there's no doubting Shannon. Fight on mate - do it for your friends and family. This miraculous turnaround is a testament to his fighting spirit.

    He sat up in bed and doctors are hopeful of a recovery.
