White collar boxing

    Any of you know of any white collar boxing matches that go on in the South Wales - Hereford/Gloucestershire area ? I am seriously interested in giving one a go. I boxed (trained) at an amateur gym for about 2 and a half years but never managed to get a fight. Now I am working and cant commit to an amateur club however I am in training and will be fit enough for a fight by around february. Any help would be great. No trolls please :D

    i know theres one in swindon on feb 23rd i think? too much of a stretch from south wales?

    let me know mate, some of the people who run it are vaguely affiliated with my gym, im boxing on one in dec and might be on the feb one, what weight are you?

    Where exactly in South wales are you living?

    I know quiet a few different gyms that have white coller boxing in the swansea and also cardiff area.

    Check the Net mate. These events happen all around the place. But they seem to get very little media. So people just don't get to hear about them.

    Thanks guys, Fighting weight is 11 stone (with a bit of luck). I live near Cardiff, i've contacted a guy who runs white collar fights in Cardiff however there's very little going on (i think due to not much interest). I looked at that one in Swindon but couldn't find out any information, only that they were doing a toughman competition sometime soon ??

    Ex pro Jamie Arthur was training white collar boxers near cardiff.

    There is a guy called John 'The guvnor' Smith who runs White Collar Boxing shows in Cardiff.
    I have not got his number though but if your from by Cardiff ask around because he's meant to be quite known and popular in Cardiff so you should be able to get hold of him.

    Cheers guys, I know of John Smith have met him once. I will ask Jamie Arthur aswell and check out the swindon sites! Not had a fight before but think i've got a fairly good idea of what i'm doing. Thanks again lads
