    I respect the **** out of Bernard as a fighter, but as an attraction he doesn't hold a candle to Roy Jones. Also, the Hopkins-Calzaghe deal should have been sealed long before Jones was even able to throw his name into the negotiations.

    People are just waiting for any chance to jump on Bernard on this site aren't they? I have massive respect for Roy Jones but there is no way a Jones/Calzaghe fight holds more credibilty than a Hopkins/Calzaghe fight. Jones needs to win another fight against decent opposition before he has earnt the right to face either of the other two.

    Having two of the best super middlewieghts in the last 20 yrs fighting each other has as much signifigance than having Hopkins fighting Calzaghe at lt heavy ..A fight between these 2 has legacy built into it by default ! And Jones already holds a win over BHOps that alone will always give him a reason to get a shot at the Executioner ..Hell even Hops team knows that when they told him should fight Jones instead of Calzaghe when they were unsure about getting the fight done ..
