Anyone getting pre fight nerves for Froch v Ward???

    I'm beginning to get the buzz and the nerves for this fight. I never back against Froch because 99% of the time he finds a way to win. But the closer I get to this fight the more i wonder if Ward is the next Mayweather type fighter. If he is the next Mayweather type fighter then no matter what Froch does Ward will win because he'll be just too good. I can't back against Carl though i'm convinced he'll find a way to win and that Ward will be exposed as a man with no heart and no chin.

    I'd love Carl to win, but Ward will give him a Boxing lesson.

    Froch is taylor made for Ward.

    I hope i'm wrong though.

    Could you see Ward stopping Froch?

    I could see a cuts stoppage myself, the accumalation of punches Froch will take will be scary imho.

    it will be ward pot shotting froch, engaging once or twice a round and then tie him up over. Froch will be getting desperate and start swinging widely. he might win a couple rounds at the start and then ward will measure hi. it wont be pretty at all imo

    in fact for me its one of the least interesting fights in December for some reason

    Not saying he'll win but I don't think Froch is taylor made for anyone (not even Jermain..) He's got an awkward style and has the reach and range to potentially frustrate Ward.

    Gonna be close but fancy Ward to get the decision 115-113 something like that.

    Froch is a G regardless. He makes me proud to be British. He'll fight anyone, anywhere, and he refuses to lose.

    i could see ward getting a stoppage just because i can see carl getting hit clean hard and often. Sometimes carl is a little to brave for his own good and he got rocked by Dirrell and put down by Taylor - the Kessler defeat seems to have tought him to box more and go for the tear up less. In this fight tho he has to put the hurt on Ward he cant try and outbox him - sadly i think he looses fairly easily.

    That said im really hoping Froch banjos him and then we can gloat over the yanks till the new year

    Assuming Froch loses who will he be fighting next?

    He's mentioned he'd like to fight Pascal again, maybe a rematch with Kessler in the UK or Bootay in Canada?

    Sportsbet were offering 12/1 on a Ward ko/tko/disq. Froch is a tough SOB but those odds are decent.
