Margerito was weight drained and sick against mosely plus mosely was probably on steroids for that fight

:deal No doubt in my mind! A re-match would be much different @ 154! After Tony Beats Cotto again, I hope they make it happen!

:good good point. He was as jacked as I've ever seen him when he fought Margo.

Anybody who gets beaten up like that by Shane, PAC and Cotto (in a few days) doesn't belong in the same ring. Sorry.

That's what I thought you meant. But I'd still say that Pac outboxed him. Pac was landing almost at will as the fight went on. His style is unconventional, but it's still precise feinting, throwing, countering, weaving, slipping, ducking, etc. He'll take a hit to land a couple, but to me, it's not just brawling.

Yes, you could say his style was probably problematic for Miguel :smoke

Like it will be for Floyd :smoke

And this was mentioned by a Miguel Cotto compatriot, the great Felix Trinidad :smoke

I saw that Trinidad picked him. Who you got in Cotto Margarito II?

**** this is a hard one man. Great you asked :good

    I think Margarito. Why?

    1. He wants it more. He has passed the threshold for pain against Pacquiao.

    2. I said he wants it more because by his looks in the interviews and 24/7, he is really angered by the accusation more than Cotto :smoke

    3. I think Cotto doubts himself a bit more now. But if he trained for more power in his punches, and connected even half the amount he did in their first outing....then Cotto might KO Antonio. He was connecting like anything during their first fight but Margarito took them all and barreled his way :good

Margarito by KO, but I don't see them having anything left in their great careers after this violent career-ending fight. :smoke

    Who are you picking?

Man why are you still breaking it down for these punks? If they are fans of Margo's they really don't know a thing about boxing . . . they might aswell be MMA fans!

With Slugger, Axel and glass these guys are racing to the bottom. I haven't heard such idiotic banter between "boxing fans" since I stumbled across the last Klitlicker thread! you guys have really out done yourself

Margarito. The big if with him is if he is healthy. People are thinking he isn't, and they could be right. For Cotto to win, I think he has to work a lot harder, stay a lot busier, than in the first fight. But I'm not counting on him doing that. So, if both guys are healthy, I think it will be a repeat of the first fight.

Sorry this argument is mute. Before Margarito got exposed for being a cheater, then I would have said he walks Floyd down. But without loaded gloves, he doesn't have the power to put anyone down and will get pot shotted by Floyd

There's no fact in that. It's only your theory

There is no Mayweather-Margarito fight. FACT :deal

I doubt Floyd would be able to knock Margo out, his potshots may
accumulate but I think Margo is much better offensively than Gatti,
the toll he send to Floyd will accumulate as well and at some point
is more probable Margo stops Floyd than otherwise.

What Floyd can do is to potshot Margo and run, which is not
what accumulate enough and it is not what can stop Margarito.

So Floyd can definitely outbox Margo but it is a good chance
    (say 30%) Margo stops Floyd.
