    his long storied history of never quitting and continually bringing the fight no matter what happens. you really think that if Miguel rebroke Tony's orbital that it would stop him? Marg looks to be in EXCELLENT physical shape, his conditioning won't be a factor here and he is more than willing to fight half blind.

    Hmmm seems a bit extreme, I thought boxing was focused on hit and not be hit. I see your point but its clear to me that you and others have exaggerated Cotto's comments. Cotto has been in his share of life threatening beatings and trucked on....he's commited to his job but his family comes first....its not so far fetched to even assume he like other pro fighters risk their lives every time they step in the squared ring. Your obviously over analyzing.

    jeez fellas, look at all the drama in everything leading up to their previous fight and how it turned out. look at all the talk and drama that's been building up to this one. that 24/7 was the best one out of em all because there is such true bad blood & hatred between each man that you can feel it!!!. hits at a much deeper level then floyd running his mouth like a bozo, that **** was Real!

    On top of all the Controversy, Hatred and History there is the whole PR vs Mehico factor as well. You better believe that MSG crowd will be on FIRE.

    I don't see how this can just be some typical fight where Miguel just boxes him and puts on a good tecnical performance.

    At some point Miguel is gonna want to go for Blood. And Tony is gonna force that out of him and this will become a war!!! just like the first.

    I aint overdramatizing ****!!!

    His best and only option is to risk his life for the W. No matter how bloodied, beaten or near death he is he CAN'T take a knee again and quit. He must risk it all and finish at all costs.

    margoe is too damaged and inactive, which hurts most fighters, to force Cotto(e) to exert himself like that

    I like Cotto and respect him, but I think he has the wrong concept about the sport. I think of the boxers that have died in the ring and I assume that in the heat of battle, there is a very, very thin line between a dead man and just a beaten up man. A thin line, that in my opinion, is impossible to distinguish.

    Through the agony, perceptions are blurred, but a fighter must just go out and risk it and his fate must be determined either by the doc, corner, ref or a physical collapse.

    All Margarito is saying is that he is willing to go as far as his body allows him (which doesnt mean death in boxing) or the doctor or ref stop the fight.

    Just my take...

    he was damaged & inactive going into the Pac fight too but still fought to the end even though he was beaten into a near death, bloodied, one eyed pulp.

    his training camp looked intense and physically he is looking as fit and strong as ever. He will push Miguel to the limit.

    The real question is how Miguel will respond to being pushed to the limit again? Will he go for broke or take another knee?

    I hope he risks it all and fights to the end, he can win a decision no doubt!

    the emmanuel fight also took something out of margoe

    That kind of AZZ beating doesn't leave you the same. Remember emmanuel wanted to KO margoe but didn't have enough raw power for it, so margoe just kept accumulating damage.

    he won't have as much coming into this fight compared to the emmanuel fight

    I don't think Miguel will "take a knee". His boxing career may become a joke in the eyes of many if he does.
