Yeah but there also were morales rumours I dont believe those either, floyd fighting sergio now at 154 for example makes no sense the way he is with his 0,money and calculating attitude when it comes to fights.
Fighting canelo at 150 at may 5 in a sold out mgm makes sense to me.

That's the plan if he can't get Mayweather.

Exactly... Floyd and Marquez fight within 5 lbs of eachother on fight night and have for some time regardless of what division they fight in.

Martinez could easily go up to super middle and fight Ward, Dirrel, Bute, Froch, Glen Johnson, Abe...the list goes on and on. Why go after the Welter that you outweigh by 15 to 20 pounds on fight night?

its getting ****ing ridiculous now. he's a middleweight who wants to fight a welterweight but not at welterweight instead of fighting middles like pirog, sturm, or golovkin or moving up to 168. he needs to realize pac and mayweather wont fight him no matter what weight he can make

Mayweather-Pacquaio will be an enormous event and is the fight that absolutely should happen next for both guys. Both guys are possibly the biggest draws in boxing, 1 and 2 pfp, fight in the same division, and the fight has been building for several years now. They should have already fought but they need to atleast get it done for May.

While Mayweather-Pac is the fight I'd like to see next due to its size I'm much more interested in a Martinez-Mayweather fight. I think a Martinez-Mayweather fight is more competitive and appealing than a Mayweather-Pac fight. I know Mayweather would be moving up in weight to challenge Martinez but why not?

Assuming Mayweather fights and beats Pac(which I clearly think he would) than where does he go. Guys like Berto, Khan, and Madaina have some appeal but Mayweather beats those guys all day long. Mayweather could accomplish something special by moving up and challenging Martinez. I'd rather see that then watch Mayweather beat, good fighters, but ones I know he's going to beat comfortably going into those fights.

I'm a fan of Mayweather's and I'd much prefer to see him in tough fights than going through the motions of knocking off lesser challenges. Unless someone like Khan or Berto goes on a string of impressive wins over quality guys than there's no one as appealing as a Martinez challenge. Unfortunately you're going to get guys who would rather see Mayweather play it safe because they hate to see their guy possibly lose.

I still won't believe he actually fights Pacquaio until they are in the ring together but atleast I think that fight has a possibility. I'd love to be wrong but I don't think we ever get a Martinez-Mayweather fight.

Well Sugar Ray Leonard went up to 160 for Hagler, DeLaHoya attempted 160 for Hopkins, why not Floyd? He claims to be 'better' than these guys (and everyone else).

WTF you think he has to do with him losing? I think Mayweather beats Sergio that being said enough is enough people there are weight classes for a reason.
