No that's a continuous authority card payment not a direct debit.

It's almost like a normal subscription. they are only taking £10 a month for 5 months. 6th month is free should be free if there website is correct.

They have only taken £10 for the first month from me and are scheduled to take £10 a month on the set date.

The one thing that Gary is spot on about is you do not need to have the funds in your paywaizard account before you start.

    Simple facts are

Paywizard is there chosen middle man to collect and manage there subscriptions.

All support is currently being handled via E-mail, help available on twitter and facebook. No phone Which sucks. when things do happen you could end up going back and forth for days via E-mail when a quick phone call would normally get things sorted.

It appears on the face of it that paywizard make it easy to cancel your subscription and potentially break the 6 month contract, if you wish to do such a thing not that I have tried. Most companies make it next to impossible to cancel subscriptions this easily without calling them.

There is no Direct debit option and safety net, If paywizard do screw up the only option for a safety net is your credit card company which is still a hassle to fix.

Personally, I don't think it's as bad as many people make out but it's not normal, and a real pain in the ass if there are problems activating your card at box nation's/paywizard's end.

Depending on who they bank with DD costs 35p a submission so if they get 25000 subscribers then thats £8750 per mth banking charges ... I presume paywizard is alot less?

I still don't have a clue what any of this means, despite reading half of this thread.

Why would they do this? Who had the awesome idea of making it confusing? All I have to do is pick up the phone to call Sky, while I need to do all this **** to get BoxNation, and for me it's one or the other.

Although, don't direct debit it, because that would force me to go to the streams like I do when Primetime have something on, and last time it included me watching a soundless stream of Pacquiao/Marquez.

Can anybody help me. I want to subscribe to boxnation. But I contacted AIB in Ireland and they tell me they have never heard of paywizard. Does anybody have any suggestions on how I can set up a paywizard account in the Republic

I agree that having to create an account at a third party is rather annoying and stupid but I have just subscribed and it wasn't actually that bad.

Had reservations over using pay wizard but subscribed tonight and it was straight forward. Create a pay wizard account, the usual password email address stuff, choose sky or virgin and then enter card details of the one you want to be billed each month. It clearly says only £10 will be taken now then every subsequent month :good

Alright, I've made a PayWizard account. I clicked on €0.00 and never added in my bank account details. Are these needed for the BoxNation subscription? Or can I just now go to boxnation and sign up using the PayWizard account?

Stupid **** anyways, but the more I think of it, the more I'm willing to go to annoying lengths to get the channel cause pretty much boxing is EVERYTHING I watch on TV.
