Are you serious...:huh Are you one that believes that every business has unlimited resources and abilites? Thats like expecting a local courier company to handle the volume fed ex does. The analogy I used is an exaggeration but I'm using it to push the point. The point of having a promotional company is to make as much money as possible for each fight. It doesnt mean you can't contract out whatever work you do not feel like doing for whatever reason. Having your own company gives you the ability pick and choose what responsibilities you take on and what responsibilites you delegate. It also gives you the ability dictate to some degree the price in which said work will be contracted out for.

So that is the reason you have your own promotional company but may need help with the biggest fight in boxing history... I usually do not respond to posts but you have been around for years so I felt the urge to respond...

The only thing GBP and Floyd got in common is getting money. Floyd aint got no respect for Oscar and Oscar hates his guts but they are two greedy indiviuals and getting money keeps them somewhat cival towards each other. Make no mistake GBP aint doing Floyd no favors.

So you think all things "RESERVED" are all final? What part of "RESERVED" you don't understand?

GBP booked it as reserved. They can't make it final yet for they don't have a fight yet...

I've heard this case in the past, a promoter reserved a date and venue but later give it up to another promoter/fight. I think other posters here can attest to this.

Even boxers can change opponent if such cases arise. Step aside please...

It is their date unless they give it up. And it doesnt have to be Floyd fighting on that date. They reserved it because a event will take place, Whether it be floyd or not.

What is your point in all of this. Floyd ordered Richard to book the MGM may 5th 2012. End of.

Fine. GBP will announce tomorrow that they have a fight for May 5, 2012, Floyd vs The Famous TBA.

Meanwhile TR will also announce a fight at Cowboys Stadium, Texas on May 5, 2012. PAC vs JMM 4.

I don't believe PAC vs Floyd can't be done because Floyd is "loyal" to GBP and GBP already booked/reserved MGM for May 5th. Floyd's association with GBP is not the dealbreaker here.

This is boxing business at the fullest, whoever offers the biggest money will get the fight done, be it those outside investors, TR, or Floyd preferred promoter.

TR can't do that. Remember bob said mannys cut won't heal by then. Or do you think he was lying again?

theres no difference, except the dollar amount is more......
if what youre saying is true, then floyd mayweather has the bush league of promotional companies...
if after 44 fights , now all the sudden he doesnt know who to "promote" a fight of this magnitude. its ridiculous and a joke.
