If he knew anything about Margarito, he would know that Tony always has a warm mug of Hydroxy Cut tea prior to entering the ring. Stamina will NOT be a problem come fight night.

Without all the added dramatic statements, the point that the OP is making is true to an extent. All the high altitude training benefits athletes competing in high altitudes. Since Tony has left the high altitude and has been at a little above sea level for a few weeks, the body will have already adjusted and will no longer supply muscles with greater amounts of oxygen.

So Tony won't necessarily have depleted stamina, but he won't have the added stamina training at high altitudes is supposed to provide. He'll just have normal stamina.

he'll have a high-altitude "hangover".

He's good for the 1st week, but by the 2nd week, he'll have free radicals, waste build-up in his body, and he'll fatigue early during the fight.

Many trainers and fighters dont know this, but when a fighter goes in high-altitude training , they're suppposed to come down to sea/ground level only ONCE, and at the right time.
Usually its supposed to be on the day of the fight, but for others it should be a few days before the fight, so that the body's lungs get accostumed to the air. It all depends on a fighters' metabolism. lung capaicty, etc.

This NYSAC unnecessary "approval" 2-3 weeks before the margo-cotto rematch is another dirty trick by DelaHoya

Delahoya got this idea to mess with Margarito's stamina (of making him leave high-altitude training prematurely), from when a similar thing happened to his then fighter-Marco A. Barrera in 2003, when Barrera was training in high-altirude in Big Bear-CA, getting ready to fight Pac in '03 in in San Antonio.

when MAB was gonna fight Pac in 2003, Barrera had recently left his manager-Ricardo Maldonado and former promoter-Forum Boxing, to go with Delahoya's new Golden Boy Promotions, Inc. company.

Maldonado was angry and got back at Barrera, by waiting 2-3 weeks before MAB fought Pac , to publicly disclose MAB's metal plate in his head, and then the texas commission (at Pac's TEAM request), made MAB leave high altitude to go to Texas for medical clearance approval.
This premature leaving high-altitude training is the reason Barrera's stamina was depleted before the fight, and why he tired quickly during the Pac fight in '03.

Now, Delahoya is pulling the same dirty trick that was played on his fighter-Barrera in '03, but this time on Margarito, by making Margarito leave high-altitide training to early, which will ruin Margarito's oxygen/blood cells mixture/ratio , and make Margarito fatigue early in the fight with Cotto.

I cant help it. I have to add. Mosley beat Margarito by being smart and doing what Cotto should have done. Instead of moving backward allowing Tony to extend his arms, Mosley always hit him first and then held him so Tony couldn't do ****. Very simple

That said. I am Puerto Rican and would love for Cotto to win. But I don't think Cotto belong to 154lbs and I think Tony strenght will be more noticeable at this weight. Except for the eye, Tony have all the advantages and should win

At high altitudes the is less oxygen. As a response, the body makes more red cell improving the capacity to use whatever oxygen is available. It takes a couple of weeks to do the adjustment either way. Running at that height also requires more effort. The athletes gets use to this and finds it easier to breath at lower levels.
