Maybe the plan all along was to go back to 160. thats why he hired COTE. Ya think?

Abraham was always at a huge style disadvantage versus Pavlik. We saw this when he moved up and guys got taller. It wasn't the weight that did him in at 168. This fight has little meaning now . I don't see it happening. No money in it without titles and I don't see Abraham picking one up anytime soon.

Can he even make 160 anymore? He weighed 178 in the ring against Martinez.

Pavlic needs to get his pale anorexic ass back to Betty Ford ASAP before he begins beating on local bartenders.

If he was drinking as much as they say, and now he's quit for real, 160 should be reachable. When I quit drinking beer I lost 15 lbs. right off the bat and it has not come back

I'm skeptical whether he can make weight at all comfortably, but he certainly figures to do better at 160 than at 168. Best of luck to him.

Pavlik can be a force at 160. I'd easily favor him to stop Chavez if he has something left. And Pavlik is undersized at 168? The guy's big enough to be a LHW.

The quickest way for him to be a champ again is at MW. Even though i think Chavez Jr. Is a fraud. It would be smart for Kelly to get a solid "Tune-up" in before fighting Chavez Jr. Which any fight for Pavlik coming back shouldnt be considered a "Tune Up" Because he hasn't been active! Kelly would definitly be the Hardest hitting MW. Definitly has the best chin.

What a great Movie this would be 10-15 years from now!

Is Pavlik still getting trained by his original guy? I heard he relocated to California but nothing about his trainer.

I like Pavlik. He's got potential to make a comeback if he gets dedicated and active.

He needs to hook up with Arreola and get on that training/fighting schedule.

If you read the link i posted u would know the answer buddy! As far as Jack Loew (His only trainer he has ever had.) Sounds like he is gone even though Kelly never came out public and said he is! Since He is going to Cali he would be training with Garcia!

Id love to see Kelly fight as much as Arreola fights, even if its against 4 cans in 5months that would make him more than ready!

    I love these Pavlick nuthuggers.

When he lost to Hops it was because he wasn't big enough.

When he lost to Martinez it was because he was too big.

Pavlick has not won a meaningful fight in over 3 years, his middlweight reign was the most abysmal in boxing history and he is totally shot.

Pavlick is more interested in drinking, beating up his wife and fighting local bar patrons (and his brother).
