Froch thinks Hopkins was robbed vs Calzaghe

BHOP > Froch > Calzaghe !

Froch is right, and you Slappy White fans are all wrong.
Trouble is, Ya'll don't know **** about boxing.

Calzaghe Fans = Bute Fans = The Worst fans

 

He's got a point. I thought Hopkins won too.

 

Not a Calzaghe fan per se, not a Brit.

And I think some of Joe's fights had very premature stoppages, and other chicanery.

But he certainly beat Bhop, who should have been DQed for 2x feigning ball shots and stopping fighting.
And 1 KD does not a W make.
Joe KDed in rd 1, vs RJJ too in 1st rd.
And JMM was KDed 3X in rd 1, in 1st fight vs Pac.

To me what will always stand out in the fight vs Bhop was the desperate twice feigning of ball shots and going to the floor on all fours.

How Bhop fans can ignore that is remarkable.

 

I had Joe winning 7-5+aKD but it wasnt a good fight, close but no fireworks.

The build-up was far more entertaining than the fight itself.

So Froch understands boxing and knows how to score a fight. Not a surprise, he seems like an intelligent guy.

 

Joe beat Hopkins and also easily demolished Kessler whom beat Froch. Unfortunately Froch will never be as great.

 

What people don't realize about Joe regarding that fight is the follwoing.

1. Bhop would now go on to do great things, what even 4 years later.
2. Bhop looked like **** vs Joe (except in rd 1), having to catch breathers with the fake ball shots.
3. Proving that Joe's style whatever insulting names people may give to it, was more than Bhop-- a genius in his own way--could figure out to counter.

The uniqueness of Joe is that he fought up to his competition's abilities. He could look mediocre against mediocre opponents, but great against the best opposition he fought.

A very deceptive fighter who if he fought anyone in his prime could not be counted on losing, for he might have figured out a way...

 

The reality of the situation is, a brittle handed bloated old calzaghe outlanded, out fought and out thought a prime Hopkins, all of Hopkins best wins of his career have come post Calzaghe, Pascal, Pavlik etc etc are all way better than blown up WW's that he used to thrive on.

Unlike Hopkins, Calzaghe also travelled to Hopkins backyard and gave him a lesson, but for Cortez, Calzaghe was stopping Hopkins who was completely gassed and in pain, that 5 min rest saved Hopkins the most brutal thrashing of his life.:deal

 

Calzaghe's slapstat #'s are totally imaginary.

He's never actually won a fight in his life.

 

Froch hates Calzaghe, that's why he's saying that simple as it is.

it's crazy that everybody thinks calzaghe beat hopkins but then say marquez beat pacquiao in the third match. i just don't get it...

 

i doubt he hated him. he just envied the position he was in and then got pissed that joe didn't give him a free meal ticket.

Not really, most posters are American on here, so they side with Hopkins because he is one of their greatest ever but got handedly beaten by Calzaghe who was bloated and shot.

The same with Pac, because he has overshadowed everything Mayweather has done, they want to knock him down a peg or two, Pac defeated Marqueerz but *****s can't accept it so they scream robbery to legitimise their fighters appalling track record. It started when Pac nearly killed the same ODLH who beat Mayweather.

 

The truth comes out.
