    At this point, I wonder how much this pre-fight hype annoys someone who has been covering fights as long as Jim Lampley? He must know by now that EVERYTHING said before a fight is complete bull****. At a certain point it would really irritate me having to make up meaningless sub plots to please the know-nothing casual fans.

    He knows he's a salesman who is being paid to promote his product. Probably loves boxing, too. Not a bad job if you're good at it.
