Only took that fight on 10 days though didn't he?

Rios still stops Murray early and I don't think he will have any trouble making 135 if he's offered a big fight there

thats the man he is, larking around when the works been done. ****s sake its wrong to miss weight but its clear its not an intentional (imo) move

just because after hes put his work in he likes to fool around with his gym mates dosent mean hes not taken it serious, id hazzard a guess that hes like that all training camps. just a joker type of lad

I was watching a video earlier where Garcia said he had just finished a 16 round spar.

I lost a stone in 5 days with the flu last winter. Couldnt eat **** all apart from a bowl of soup some mornings and I could barely even get out of bed when it was at it's worst. But im just your average guy probably carrying a couple of stone over what i would weigh if i was in top notch condition - it might be different for a top level athlete who's been hammering it in the gym.

What generally happens with fighters who are allowed to fight even though they 'can't make the weight', is they end up with more advantage then they would've had. I can't think of many fighters it had an adverse effect on come fight night. But then most fights are not given the go ahead when one fighter fails at the scales.

Where's the glory in that? No point in calling yourself a fighter let alone a world champion if you're ducking people who can beat you.

I guess that depends how much he tried to make the weight. If he just accepted that he'd be over and didn't bother trying to shift the last few ounces then I could see him having an advantage but if he's boiled down, stopped eating and drinking for days and then had to go off and do an hour on a treadmill to try and make weight then that would surely be a hinderence come fight night? Especially if there are further conditions on rehydration and more weigh-ins on the day of the fight. It doesn't sound like Rios has done a Guzman but saying that I haven't put money on Murray because I'm not sure how much of it to believe.

I've just seen the weigh in video, the guy looks totally ****ed and that is no lie.

he was trying everything to make the weigh, even trying to get all the air out of his body and pushing his stomach in to obviously lighten the weight but he couldn't stand up for long doing that and gave up, he's obviously crashed at the weight.
