Who has the best offensive arsenal in boxing today?

I think Pavliks a good choice, though Wlads probably has a top 3 offensive arsenal as well.

 

If Pavlik works on his combinations a bit more, he will have the best offensive arsenal in boxing.

 

My pick would be Juan Diaz. While Pavlik may have the power to back up his arsenal he doesnt have the fluid combinations coming from both hands at a very fast speed, which is what Juan has.

If I had to pick one fighter's offensive arsenal as the most complete and effective, I would say JMM. Some others are Dawson, Cotto, Calzaghe, and Mijares. Pavlik doesn't come close to these guys.

I would say Pac or Juan Diaz. These two have relentless offensive assaults and are come forward offensive mided fighters.

I dont think Pavlik is a bad choice either, because of his recent KO string over top fighters and his tendency to demolish his opponents. However, its just my personal preference to pick fighters with higher intensity when judging by offense alone.

 

I disagree with you completely. Pavlik has just KO'd a top heavy handed challenger in Miranda and the champion in his division, and done so in picturesque fashion.

The question was the "best" offensive arsenal, not the most complete. With that criteria, there is plenty of room for subjectivity and KO's over Miranda and Taylor have to put Pavlik in the running.

 

No, I would put at least Pac, Diaz, Cotto, and Pavlik above Vlad in the p4p sense. And not to mention that Vlad still fights very defensively and tentatively with his jab and grab style. When he lowers the boom, its something to behold, so I would rank him fairly high still, but guys like Pac and Diaz are come forward offensive machines.

 

Again, if the question is the "most complete", Pavlik doesnt turn the trick.

But the 1-2 does just fine if the framework is "best". The 1-2 has taken the top fighters of his division out brutaly.
