    Cotto fought smarter and Margarito has declined significantly. Margarito was effective as early as the second round in the first fight, landing clean shots upstairs. He was chasing Cotto aimlessly for the entire fight and couldn't land this time round.

    He barely landed any clean bombs upstairs all night and Cotto's face still looked like ****. Cotto obviously didn't enjoy getting punched in the face by him, he just did a much better job at avoiding it. Cotto avoided punishment tonight for the most part, so he was able to punch meaningfully all fight. He also used his stockyness and physicality as an advantage at times, wrestling Marg in close where he can't throw punches and walking his lanky ass backwards.

    Cotto was able to box smarter because he wasnt getting battered with plaster bricks.

    No, it was the Schwinn Cotto brought to the ring that was the difference..

    Thought it was similar to last fight with Cotto having a better gameplan and stamina.

    Not conclusive and I'm inclined to take back my bad words towards Margo.

    margs weak eyes easily swells up..marg with healthy eyes would have been trouble for cotto..also didn't make it easier for marg that cotto came in well prepared and fought smarter.

    The eye, we all know Cotto wears out in the last 3-4 rounds too, we never got to see what would truly happen, Cotto did not have Margarito beaten at that point. Margarito was fresh and ready to get back out there.

    He wasnt slowing/wearing cotto down cos every last one of his punches had less f*cking pop in them.

    Cotto wasnt getting peppered by a loaded jab all night...
