I don't want Cotto to get hurt, either.

But Pac is the only unfinished business he has. You have to think he's going to want to do it.

What if Cotto boxes like he did tonight? We know Pac gets frustrated with movement and isn't great at cutting off the ring. Cotto made a critical mistake in the first fight allowing himself to be enticed into slugging it out early with Pac thinking he was the stronger man.

The important thing Cotto showed tonight is that he can adjust.

So, why couldn't he adjust to Pac?

I'm not saying Pacquiao is as easy to adjust to as Margarito is, but Cotto learned from Margo I, why can't he learn from Pac I?

Cotto was doing well until he caught those big punches in those wild exchanges. He never recovered after taking them.

Miguel is flat footed and too reliant on the left hand

those guys are snacks for emmanuel

the 3 guys he looked best against (Barrera, Oscar, and Cotto(e)) all happened to be flat footed and left hand happy

And I heard Arum at the post press conference saying how he don't think Pac can fight in May because of his cut again :tired

May vs Pac needs to be made now.

If it cannot be made, then I'd like May vs Cotto, hoping that Cotto wins. Then Cotto vs Pac hoping again that Cotto wins.

I'm tired of those two, we need a savior. Could it be Cotto? I can only dream...

What do you mean I'm a writer.

Ok, I admit: I'm Bob Arum himself.

    :yikes

I think he can, same way Barrera was able to do for their rematch. Pac may very well take a clear UD like he did there, but Cotto should be given some chance with his recent disciplined boxing displays and considering the weight (if it's at 150ish), and if they can force 10oz gloves he'd have some advantages he didn't have in the first fight.

To be perfectly honest, I think the Pac- Mayweather fight list its glimmer to me....Marquez exposed Pac. Floyd by UD all day. I'm more looking for 'entertaining' fights now after being robbed so many times in PPV's lately for lackluster action just because 'the names' are there. time after time after time the undercards are stealing the show.

Pac Cotto I was a GOOD fight to watch. I'd watch it again.

Yes, very likely. Pac only fights arum bums or old names. He's waiting for Marquez to turn 39 or 40.
