There is no way he will fight anyone called Klitschko

Tyson Fury will be defending his British title at home next so I doubt it will be him, Helenius & Chisora will have a rematch.

Arreola or Adamek would be good.

Povetkin proved he's clearly #3 in the division lastnight, if I could pick I'd say Chisroa next.

Marco Huck called him out at the post-fight presser, and Povetkin and Atlas both said they will accept the fight.

Since Huck and Povetkin have the same promoter, then it would be an easy fight to make. But I'd sooner see Povetkin in with some real HWs like Arreola or Chisora.

Povetkin will be fighting on Feb 25th and according to his manager, the most likely opponent is Marco Huck. They still have to get permission from the WBA to avoid the mandatory Hasim Rahman.

fighting a former cruiser on his first HW fight is a step back for povetkin...huck should beat a decent HW before fighting a so called champ.
but this is boxing nowdays ladies and gentlemen...

How long have they been targeting now, 2+ years? It was the same story before, Povetkin needs a couple more fights and then he's ready

Povetkin is 32. If he's not ready yet, he never will be. Povetkin will just milk his paper title as long as possible, just like Valuev did...then Sauerland will replace him with their next puppet.

I'd like to see him beat the **** out of Teddy Atlas. It would sell out on pay per view.

You are right, they are going to keep milking this fake title as much as they can. In two years, if Povetkin still has it, Klitschko's will both be retired. At that point Atlas will say they were ducking him.

Huck vrs. Povetkin would be very exciting to watch. And we'd get to see Huck get beat up. So it's a win/win. Unfortunately I don't believe it's going to happen, since one of them has to lose, and both are earners for Sauerland. However, at least in Huck's case, Huck could lose this fight and still go back to cruiser and defend his title or fight for a new title.

I hope it happens but i'm skeptical. It's a much much better fight than Povetkin/Rahman, which would suck.

If he was serious about eventually fighting a Klitschko, you'd think he'd prepare by fighting some tall but less dangerous opponents like Dimitrenko, Wach, Ustinov, Grant, etc.

David Haye! I know that match isn't most likely happening but it would be awesome! A fight with Arreola could be great too. After two fights it's time to go after Klits :)
