Yeah he needs consistency, he boxed beautifully at times and when he had to gutted it out with Margo. It was never gonna be easy, Pacquiao was hurt by Margarito and also was hit a fair bit.
We'll never know for sure but I personally feel he cheated in the first fight. Last night his punches weren't having the same effect on Cotto, yes he didn't land as much and obviously with the two beatings he'd taken and the damaged eye Cotto was able to do more damage, but he does act like a criminal as Cotto said.
Kellerman can say what he want's. In the first fight they used Reyes gloves, which are known to be as hard as rock's themselves. Last night they wore 10oz Everlast gloves, of course there's gonna' be a different sound when landing
Margarito was laughing back at Cotto but he was shaking his head and talking to Pacquiao and he was taking a absolute hiding. With the eye the way it was, Cotto was delivering a severe beating and Margarito's eye must be in some state now. He may be/is a cheat but he is also one tough *******.
You're right a cheating tough punchbag. He used them in the first fight without doubt. The arguement has been exhausted but you dont start using them against Mosley after Cotto. Also He looked a monster size wise compared to Cotto at 153 last night and still didnt even wobble him
he seemed like a smug ****, am glad he lost but the fight should never have happened. Man shouldnt be allowed to box at all
So pleased cotto got his revenge. Great fighter. His only true loss was to pacquiao. **** margarito that **** hasn't won a fight without his plaster. Hope we never see that piece of **** again
I'm not sure about automatically coming to the conclusion Margarito must have had illegal wraps in the first fight. My gut instinct was he probably did because I don't see why he'd suddenly decide to use them for Mosley after a career best win. But really this doesn't prove that because Margarito has taken some vicious sustained beatings and suffered inactivity, that hurts a guy that needed the intensity to break Cotto down after an inevitable fast start by Miguel.
