    Because Margarito sustained more damage in the Pacquia fight where his orbital bone was crushed, knowing this the doctors were concerned for his eye

    Morales had been on a comeback from the Diaz loss and hadnt sustained any noticeable damages whatsoever

    didnt like the stoppage. Margo was having one of his best rounds. His face looked way worse in the pacquiao fight and they let him finish.

    Margo had operations and a history so it was evident why the doctors were more precautions but good point nonetheless mate

    The commission was scared. 10 years ago Margarito would have had to retire after the Pacquiao fight.
    They saw the eye was closed got scared.

    Stupid question, margarito has been destroyed by pacquio in that eye, Morales hadn't. And obviously the ny commision would not risk letting a fighter go blind.
