He should and probably will get a rematch with Pac, and hopefully Pac is forced to take the test. If Cotto can beat a Pac who has taken osdt then Cotto will climb into the ATG rankings IMO.
at 154 it would be a better fight but......Pac still has to be the favorite here. also you have to take into consideration that Margo likely never been Cotto in a straight where as Pac did.
in light that Floyd don't want to negotiate unless Pac drops the lawsuit and rumor that JMM wants 25mil. and the fight in mexico city with an all mexican judge and referee, Pac-Cotto becomes a real option along with Bradley.
Zero interest in this fight considering how uncompetitive their first fight became; not to mention that Pac has his eyes on either Mayweather or JMM next. Miguel ought to leave TR who can't really offer him any significant fights at 154 and look for greener pastures with GB where both Canelo and perhaps even Mayweather would be seek-able opponents.
Cotto has little chance in beating Pac with or without the tests but its a great fight and makes sense....Cotto can still climb the ATG ranks if he continues to win. There's Floyd, JCC Jr and Canelo out there. Their styles would match up well with Miguel and Cotto could beat all of them....yes, even Floyd. Styles make fights. Cotto proved a lot on Saturday.
You all really hate Cotto don't you? That's the only reason I can see why someone would want to see this one-sided ass kicking again.
These guys can play ring-a-ring-a-roses all they like if it kills time while waiting for the saviour of 147 to move up. Thing is once Suavecito steps it up a gear (once he's despatched of that bum rigondeaux) he's on a collision course with the top dogs like it or not. Question is does he stop off to clear out sf/lw on the way? Pacquiao/Mayweather winner vs Ramos 2013 it's already in the long term plan
