Chavez Jr vs Cotto... Who wins?

Chavez sucks.

 

At middleweight?

Chavez is too big for Cotto.

 

They better wait until Cotto is at a different point in his career....he will get busted up. Cotto, has way to much left in him.

 

I Cotto can make up with skill what he lacks in size in this fight.

 

Chavez is too big. I think he'd grind Cotto down late.

 

Chavez hasn't show me he's an elite fighter at all since he spends his time beating up cab drivers, tomato cans, and disable vets. Until he steps in competition and show me what he's made of. I think at 154lbs Cotto will win that fight easily but at middle probably not since that's a whole different weight class and not sure how Cotto will do.

Cotto might take it but it would be a huge win. Cotto would be 165 at best while Chavez would be 180.
Cotto could do what he did to Margarito.

cotto would outbox chavez into a UD. but at 160, where chavez is at the comfortable weight, cotto will be in big trouble.

 

Cintron may not be what he was - but he ain't no cab driver either. Chavez jr is starting to look like a contender to me. That said, Cotto is at another level in terms of skill and athleticism, Chavez's edges would be his size and youth. A lot in that fight would come down to how much Cotto has left and whether he can hurt Chavez jr. I'd go with Cotto, but still - he'd give up 15 cm (six inches) in height and maybe 25 pounds in weight - those are huge numbers.

 

Cotto UD. If its in Mexico I could see it being close
