Cotto said the punches felt the same. Wouldn't loaded gloves hurt more? Waiting in anticipation from all of the ESB plaster experts.
I know Miguel is not an ESB plaster expert but he was there both times,so I will go with his opinion on that..
Cotto better not fight any of the young guns at 154. I did not like his tactics last night, even though he won. I would worry for him against Angulo, Kirkland, Trout,Molina, Lara and Canelo.
Cotto said he didn't feel much this time and look at my face he said...implying Margaret had the plaster you dumb moron...wake up before you slip into a perpetual coma!!! :rofl:rofl you Nuthuggers made me laugh but now I'm getting seriously concerned!!!
Oohh...good point, oh and Cotto's peak conditioning and ring experience wouldn't help would it? Canelo who almost got knocked out by Cotto's brother. Kirkland who got rocked by an imitation of Margaret only to come back at a later date and have a free for all punch trade off!!! What the He'll are you referring to...Cotto will chew them up and spit their asses inn their faces!!!!
At 154 Margo isn't a big puncher, outside of Trout and Molina the 154 young guns can punch and hurt you. Cotto was getting tagged too much by Margo for my liking and fighting the wrong way. I'll say this if Angulo was in the ring last night, I could definitely see him winning the fight the same way Margo did the first one, except without the plaster.
Cotto said he did not feel the punches in EITHER fight really, but the damage is vastly different from 1st fight. He is saying Margarito hit's like a *****, but with plaster, his face and nose broke with ease in the 1st fight. :hi: LOL "I don't know if he saw me with his ONE eye... but I wanted to stand there and absorb the moment of victory" ~Cotto ! "I think I composed my RAGE better than most after the fight considering..." ~Cotto. HE KNOWS MARGO cheated him in 1st fight.
I really think you're underrating Cotto against Angulo. Cintron beat him relatively with ease...Cotto can definitely adjust to defeat him especially with his trainer!!
I'd like to hear what Cotto's trainer had to say ..Robert Garcia is 0-2 with Cheato ..There is no fixing him
My only concern with Cotto at 154 is he is a WW but with Pac and May there had to move up to get another belt. Now Arum wants to get him a belt at MW. (Cue bballchimp to show up with his usual 'why are you defending Arum' childish ****** gibberish) Not sure, but Arum may due this and then have him move back down and Miguel walks away a three division champ. Arum will have a fighter lined up to fight for the vacated belt of course. Rumor is they want Pavlik to return to MW and that is the real reason for him to move to California. Work with a nutritionist in a warm climate to get the wait off. He was looking pretty thin when I saw him a couple of weeks ago.
Cintron beat a sick Angulo who hurt him badly late in the fight. I don't count the Cintron fight against Angulo any more than I count Ishida against Kirkland. Fluke wins on a fighter's off night. I think if you get Angulo in the ring with Cotto, Cotto gets KO/TKO'd late.
If Margo's wraps were loaded they would have felt differently, or are you saying that loaded and unloaded wraps feel the same. Cotto got his ass beat in the first fight and the only way his ego can deal with it is by claiming Margo cheated. The damage up until the 9th round was pretty much the same. Cotto got hit with less punches because he boxed better. As Cotto said, his prep was the difference (which means, for those too ******ed to understand, that Margo's wraps were the same). And Cotto got hit with 10oz Everlast instead of 8oz Reyes. Big difference there. I can bet my life that Cotto will never step foot inside a ring with Margo no matter what Bob may offer him in a couple of years. I haven't seen a fighter as relieved as he was when they stopped the fight.
