No, but I consider it clearly better than Mayorga. If we were ranking their six wins in the last two years, I'd say Alexander and Foreman are clearly the best two and Mayorga and Casamayor are clearly the worst two. Abregu wasn't that great, but I still have a hard time putting Margarito even above him as a quality opponent simply because I'm not even sure he's won a round in a meaningful fight in the last 3 years.

I saw a list on this thread that had Gamboa in the top 10 P4P, so,if that list is official, and Gamboa is on the list, so too should Cotto. Cotto has fought waaaay better op than has Gamboa and has performed well against 95% of them, so yes, he should be ranked in the top 10.

Definitely not. This fight does not move him up.

Margo is a warrior for sure, but one who is on the slide.

2 of Cotto's 3 belts were shitty vacant titles against C level fighters.

    1. Floyd Mayweather
    2. Pacquaio
    3. Marquez
    4. Martinez
    5. Donaire
    6. W. Kiltschko
    7. V. Klitschko (highly underrated in p4p lists to me)
    8. Ward
    9. Froch
    10. Bradley

    11. Segura
    12. COTTO
    13. Khan
    14. Gamboa
    15. Pong

Just have to say that before his long hiatus... many had BRADLEY at number 6 7 8 or 9.... just because of his hiatus doesn't necessarily mean he should be completely off the list.... Floyd came back and beat JMM and people automatically gave him number 2 p4p (including myself)... so Bradley's hiatus could push back a few numbers but it doesn't mean he shouldn't be on people's lists... I have him at number 10.

Got to be a joke, Margarito was not top 20 at super welter. Mayorga not top 20 at 154, and Foreman was fighting with one leg. so No, not top 10. but top 30 for sure.

    1. Marquez - Beat the #1 fighter 2 divisions up from his own.
    2. Pacquiao - Has been destroying top natural welters for a few years.
    3. Donaire - Beat Montiel 3 division world champion and top 7 p4p fighter.
    4. Martinez - Has been dominating at 160
    5. Mayweather - Although he hasn't beat a top 10 p4p fighter in years, he did beat a top fighter in his division and as we all know is very skilled and could accomplished much more if he just fought the top fighters at 154.

after 5 It gets very close.

    Wonjongkam
    Segura
    Ward
    Mares
    Gonzalez
    H. Marquez

any of those 6 would make the top 10 p4p list.

He did fight Marquez in 09 but come on, his 3rd fight over 130:lol:, Lets see May take a fight with Ward at 168 and see how well he does.

Mosley was supposed to be a top 10 after beating Margarito, so that's a good name. :think

so in 4 years he has Victor and Mosley, which deserve a spot at #5 at best IMO. If you think that's a resume of a #1 fighter in the world then so be it. To me he's top five till he fights Pac, or Sergio at 160, or Lara top 154 fighters. We all know floyd can do it, but will he?
