Really no telling how long Margarito cheated for. Possibly his entire career. The question is would he have even been a top welterweight without the plaster? He was at the top or near the top of the welterweight division for years. Does he win some of those fights without the plaster? Also what kind of damage did he do to innocent victims. Did Lujan's ear almost come off from the plaster? I bet it did. Did he damage Cintron much more because of the Plaster? yes, i doubt he cheated his whole career..... even in this cotto fight cotto's face was ****ed up and margo didn't catch him half as much so I doubt he even had loaded wraps the first time, cotto just ran a lot last night and made it hard for margarito to connect, cotto won fair and square but his face and head still got busted
Controversy sells. People will tune in when he fights knowing that there's a possibility he might get killed or seriously injured, that's just the way it is.
