I would take Meldrick. Up to the Chavez fight he was something else at 140, and would outspeed Mayweather and be able to sustain it, unlike a certain Zab Judah. His power and accuracy were also excellent at 140 and he had a good workrate. Close UD, but its a very close fight

Floyd wins this. Way too much skill for Taylor. Taylor was a kid when he was at his best, Floyd would would figure him out and win.

PBF hands down. PBF is better than Taylor in every single department except speed and workrate this is a no brainer PBF by UD.:deal

Taylor was something else to watch but IMO Mayweather's defensive skills neutralize Taylor's speed and takes this by UD

Meldrick Taylor was a volume puncher without great power. With his hands always moving , a sharpshooter like Floyd would have his trouble early , but would eventually time Meldricks rushes, and start to potshot him to death.
Meldrick would be beaten to a pulp by the time the fight was stopped.

this is a really tough one and can go either way. taylor had brilliant hand speed and combanations, but floyd is very good defensively.

i think floyd would make taylor fight his fight and not stand toe to toe, where taylor can lay his combinations.

i'd say floyd would gradually pik him off with fast single clean shots for the whole fight. and taylor will lay the combinations every tym he gets close to floyd. floyd would be on the back foot but win by close decision.

Taylor would force the action..Floyd would counter brilliantly...both guys are to good to get blown out in this one and neither has the power to blow the other away...barring a perfectly timed punch/combo give me taylor 7-5.
