Castillo would be the 2nd best lightweight in the world today. He'd destroy Rios and the rest.

Only fighter who could beat him would Marquez. And considering how Marquez struggled with Katsidis and Diaz that would be a very tough fight.

    Same with Corrales.

Historically Castillo and Chico were B level. However today, they most certainly would be consider elite P4P fighters.

DLH that Floyd would most likely beat everyone at 154 today. He'd be favored over everyone. So he would be considered A level today aswell.

Going by Ganders logic, then Pacquiao has only beaten 1 A level fighter in his career. That would be Barrera the first time.

Morales certainly wasnt A level when Pac rematched him.

I mean unless you count the 2 gifts vs Marquez who Floyd also beat.

What "A" level fighters do you think Mayweather should have fought and when?

Chico was A level and ranked above Floyd when they fought and Castillo was A level at the time. Just bc Floyd outclassed them doesn't mean they weren't top fighter at the time in their respected weight classes. Would you consider Hatton A level at the time Floyd faced him Gander?

Corrales, Chicanito, Castillo, Marquez, Hatton, Hoya, Mosley, and Judah were all A level fighters. I'd have to say Castillo was his best win considering Castillo's style, size and the fact that he was in his prime. These conversations are tough though, because there is no clear cut definition of an A class fighter.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that.

Hatton's greatest success came at 140. Virtually ALL his success. He was the top guy at 140, fighting at 140. At 147, he wasn't anything special. Just a contender.
