1. You're asking a Boxing forum, NOT a bodybuilding forum...in sports, aesthetics mean nothing. 2. Why wouldn't you want stronger triceps? Although it's mostly lower body, punching DOES involve some upper body muscle. 3. Curls for the girls.
Maybe, I guess working on your biceps and complimenting your routine with pulling exercises, while not working triceps and avoiding workouts that require you to push with your arms would give you a decent shot. I would tell you to try bicep curls and all its variations, pull ups, chin ups, and if you're interested also work with row machines.
There's a couple of blokes down the gym with big biceps who are basically scrawny everywhere else. They do barbell curls, dumbell curls, preacher curls, cable curls, then give the squat rack a confused look before going home to ogle a copy of, 'Flex'.
One of the younger guys on our dart team has that workout philosophy. He is pretty big through the chest, big bicep/tricep and forearm development but has legs that look like they belong on Kate Moss. It really looks ridiculous when you see a guy with decent upper body development and stick figure legs.
nah man your arms will grow much quicker if you work both tris and bis, with both negative movements and at various angles. Pretty pointless after a certain point, but if you care about arm "size" don't neglect your tris. In theory its possible I guess but there's no good reason not to want tricep development, it's not like they will add that much weight to you like, say, overdeveloped thighs would.
Look at it this way, your triceps are larger and make up 2/3 of your upper arm leaving 1/3 for your biceps. You'd look ****ing ridiculous if you somehow managed to reverse this ratio. OP, are you 15 and wanting to attract women? I can't see any benefits to what you're attempting.
Aramini you know better than this. The human body doesn't work according to "theory's". Even when doing exercises that concentrate on a particular muscle the ancillary muscles and stabilizers around that muscle ie the muscle group are worked too.
you should work on balance/ symmetry or else look ridiculous. and as someone else pointed out big triceps = big arms because the tricep is something like 75% of the arm.
