Gerald McClellan.

I took some pelters from two real dickheads the other day because I tried to argue that this wasn't the place to argue about dogfighting.I'd like to make a few things clear.

1)Dogfighting is deplorable.Feeding helpless dogs to pitbulls even more so.
2)I have absolutely no evidence to disprove that McClellan was a nasty piece of work.

I have known several people in my life who have commited what is considered the most mortal sin.Some went on to become lifelong friends and I judged them for who they were,not what they did.I am as far from "without sin" as you can be without having killed anyone,raped anyone or harmed a child.
So I cannot help but feel terribly sorry for Gerald McClellan,he is almost childlike,and nothing he did can make me feel he deserves what has befallen him.His squeaky voice and complete reliance on his sister are all the more tragic when you think of the fearsome exponent of our sport he was.
Apologies to anyone who is offended by my stance(apart from the aforementioned dickheads.)Everyone's opinion is valid,and I hate resorting to namecalling,but I only do so because I hate when people fail to read threads properly and come on the attack with nothing but silly names and nonsensical comments.
People are entitled to hate McClellan I fully admit,but some of us are also entitled to feel sorry for the guy,whatever he may have done.
The guy is basically living hell on earth.I just found him to be a very entertaining boxer.
Sorry again for any offence but that documentary was sad.
Full respect to Nigel Benn too.I never rated him as a fighter but I certainly do now as a man.
