I'm going to try to be logical on this forum... :yep Pac struggled with JMM and barely pulled off the victory. Mayweather, even though landed a lot of right hands on Ortiz, it was shown that he doesn't respond to well to guys with wreckless aggression (though Ortiz didn't land that much, Mayweather looked like a fish out of water), and that he doesn't move as well these days. Going by this... Why would Arum not want to make this fight? Pac is his meal ticket, and Mayweather buys him his biggest meal. If Pac loses to anybody I guarantee 75% of the fans who want to see it now, WILL NOT. If Mayweather loses I'd bet the same thing. Both guys are getting older, both guys have shown some limitations (though Pac seems to always struggle with counter punchers). Even if Pac loses, Bob Arum gets a bigger payday than any 3 potentional PAc opponents in the 140, 147, 154 pound divisions COMBINED. Also, pac saves more face in losing to Mayweather than say Khan, Bradley, etc, and could always potentially fight them in the future, and a lot of people would still watch him. Don't make a bit of sense to me how people say Arum wouldn't want this fight as of late. Even putting yourself in Arum's shoes.. Why the hell wouldn't you want this fight? Pac will probably retire, or lose within his next 3 fights I'd bet, and the biggest PPV ever won't get made.
Arum is robbing Pacman and we all know it. If Floyd fights Manny he is going to shout how much he's making and it will probably finally ring home to Pac that it's true that he's being robbed. Arum will take the next 3 in house fights and a clueless Pacman over a fight where he might not get much out the back end of the fight because of investors.
