hmm.. let me see. Pac TKOd ODLH, KOed Hatton in 2, made Mosley run for his life, beat Margarito and Cotto in a brutal manner. Of course these two guys was heavily avoided by PBF. :D

Pac has a promoter taking a % from his fights.
Floyd has his Mayweather promotions taking much of the promoter revenue.
A smaller factor is that Pac's opponents tend to get paid more than Floyd's. Golden Boy typically don't pay their fighters as much to get Floyd the big purse splits he demands. (eg. Marquez $8-9M vs Pac, $3.2M vs Floyd)

Pacquiao outselling Floyd in PPVs is a not that hard to figure. Floyd's constant retirement plans and the way he treats his fans like **** can only hurt his PPV numbers.

Katy Perry holds the same record as Michael Jackson for most number one singles from an album

Barbra Streisand has sold more records (140 million) than Pearl Jam, Johnny Cash, and Tom Petty
    This content is protected

and floyd, oscar and pac have outsold Muhammas Ali, Mike Tyson , Evander Holyfield

damn its great to be alive in this era and witness all this records being smashed, all time PPV KING, and we get PAC vs Shane Mosley who nearly 40 years old and zero wins in his last 2 fights in this mismatch.... and floyd vs victor ortiz...an 8-1 underdog who cracked under pressure in 4 rounds...while ali fought frazier 3 times, holyfield fought everyone, tyson was demolition machine..... and now maybe if we are lucky pac-marquez 4 and floyd vs tim bradley and you guys can talk about numbers some more
instead of this 2 glory boys or yes men or whatever they are somehow not fight each other yet AGAIN

Because of the result of this fight the big ppv numbers imo are actually bad. The less people who saw it the better, these are the types of decisions that kills boxing and turn people away from the sport

    Right.

As a sitting Congressman, as well as a TV/film personality and a global icon, Pacquiao doesn't have the time to run his own promotional company, I don't think.

That's why Arum is in the picture. At least as far as I understand. So Pac doesn't have to spend his time on this.

If that's true, then why did Floyd-JMM only do 1.0M buys?
