I actually prefer Marquez over cotto, had he ebaten canelo as well this year you might had a point but now he wont get it.
I think s6 winner or donaire gets it this year.

He boxed very impressively in his two fights vs Mayorga, although a shot version, and against Margarito, who's also past his best but it was a legacy fight fight for him. Probably not enough or worthy, but he has a case due to the lack of a standout fighter this year and his fights being hi-profile with the Margarito fight being the fourth biggest of the year after the Pac & Mayweather bouts. It would be good to stick it to his haters though. More fitting would be the super 6 winner getting it, I agree.

    **** No.

    In 2011 Cotto beat:
    Ricardo Mayorga
    Antonio Margarito

    That's complete ass compared to:

    Adrien Broner:
    Jason Litzau
    Daniel Ponce De Leone
    Vicente Rodriguez
John Revish(and I don't know who he is)

The Winner of the Super Six

    Sergio Martinez:
    Serhiey Dzinzruk
    Darren Barker

    Abner Mares:
    Joseph Agbeko(x2)

    Nonito Donaire:
    Fernando Montiel
    Omar Narvaez

    Timothy Bradley:
    Devon Alexander
    Joel Casamayor

Arce gets it for me. Though Rungvisai and Tepparith are both solid (and forgotten) shouts

I think the fact you even consider cotto tells you no one man did too much more than the rest to win it. Maybe Martinez or winner of Froch -Ward gets the edge.

And Pacquiao lost to Marquez, Helenius lost to Chisora, Dawson-Hopkins should have been an NC, Alexander lost to Matthyesse, Williams lost to Lara, Margarito got stopped too early, Cunningham should have been KO'd against Hernandez or the fight should have been a TKO victory for Cunningham due to the cut, Mares should have been DQ'd in the first Agbeko fight, etc.

That's just from this year, but those fights have yet to be overturned and everyon one of those have been much more controversial. So a much more mild fight going against what you think it went is not a loss.

And no, Broner is not ****. Ask Jason Litzau what he thinks about that.
