I was worried that he may need more surgery but there hasn't been any reports saying that. Does anyone know whether he suffered another serious setback or was it simply swelling?

    Cheers :good

he only had some minor swelling that they quickly used as an excuse to stop the fight. the orbital bone held up, the artificial lense is still where its supposed to be so theres nothing wrong with his eye
hope to see him fight Kirkland soon..

I expect him to be alright; I feel like the tissue is just prone to swelling after being damaged, but that's not really related to the risks of a second orbital bone break or anything like that.

I expect no damage he didn't get beat badly like people pretend that he did, and to me it was only simple swelling, nothing more nothing less

its still in the orbit, the hard swelling prevent the doctor from pulling it out

His boxing might be over due the serverity of his damaged eye. Any of his future opponents will zero in on Margo's eye and thats all folks.

    Margoputatards make your minds up:

"he eye was swollen but everything else is intact"

= cotto's victory was legitimate and the swelling and cut from round 3 was not due to his orbital bone getting busted again but from cotto tapping that ass!

I think what they are saying is that Margarito's injury from the Pacquiao fight was not repeated in the Cotto fight, but swelling as a result of the injury flared up during the fight.

Cotto said he would target the eye and he did, it was good tactics, but not much Margarito could have done about it.
