Cubanos, Mexicanos, Euros, Britts, Pilipinos White People brothas. At 130, both fighters in their prime who wins? MAB tha boxer-puncher who loved to brawl, Casa tha slick counter punching Cubano who fought dirty to his advantage. I think it would be a very tactical fight with Casa trying to bully MAB but Marco would have none of that. Barrera would be frustrated with Casas lack to engage, so he would start pressing and I could see Casa droppibg him with a left couner. I think Casa would win 9-3 b:bbb
I think the more technical Barrera has too much for Casa due to the fact he has the old style to draw on if necessary.Barrera has a deeper toolbox to delve into but it would be an interesting matchup.
I have to agree with this. Barrera too small at this weight and Casamayor also had quite a bit of pop at this weight. Close fight though.
Damn... i can't pick... people seem to forget just how skilled Casamayor was... i think i will go for a draw
MAB wasn't close to prime at 130. Maybe in his very earliest days at 130 his superior talent would carry him to a victory over Casa. If Casamayor tries to 'bully' MAB he's going to get ktfo. If Casa turns it into a dirty fight he gets knocked out, because when MAB's opponents fought dirty he considered it permission to unleash his own demonic side and he had a ****load more hostility than Casa ever did. Casa would try to box him and cruise to a points win with some hard potshots thrown in to keep MAB from getting too rambunctious. Interesting matchup.
Barrera knocking out Casamyor is a very unlikely scenario yet you make it sound like it's the easiest thing in the world.
If Casa tried to get dirty or make it a brawl, MAB would win that encounter. He wouldn't get him with one shot and done, but he'd do it sooner or later if it turned into a war. It's not a lock guarantee, Casa was a hell of a fighter and 130 isn't MAB's best weight but that's what I see happening. Marco would just land sharper, cleaner and more often and over several rounds that spells disaster for Casa.
