Soccer is the most boring Sport in the World. Played by soft cocks who cry as soon as they get kicked in the leg. If they started sending guys off for taking dives i might be able to show the sport some respect.
Yeah and Back Street Boys and Spice Girls etc etc were the biggest bands in the world during their time... does that make em any good???
whats that got to do with the subject??:huh He simply states that "HE" enjoyed the game against Uraguay, "HE" found it exciting Then states the obvious, that Football has always been & will always be the most popular team sport in the world
Whats the got to do with the subject?? Thought it was pretty self explanitory... it means that just beacuse the masses like something dont mean it is good... its boring as dog **** to put it politley
To each his own mate. Different strokes for different folks. To a casual fan or a new comer it may seem boring, but if you like the game and appreciate the skills involved and can follow what's going on tactically, it's great. I can enjoy a low or even a non scoring game of football, just like how I don't need a knock down or a stoppage to enjoy boxing.
Why?? Besides, do u think he gives a **** about some potato loving scotish inbreds........ I don't think he be rushing back there for a holiday atsch
Because of his pathetic effort demanding to be subbed at half time against Inverness Caley Thistle in the Scottish Cup, probably one of the lowest points in Celtic's proud history. That and when he left saying he only played to 70% of his ability. Something he denied saying to David O'Leary. As for giving a ****, well he should. Without Celtic he wouldn't have cashed in at Leeds. If he'd have stayed, he might have won something too.
WTF :huh Are u serious, if that is the worst thing in Celtic history i'll ****'n jump off the gap Caroline Byrne style
load of patronising BS everyone can see the skills involved, that is not in question. most however cannot see past the theatrical bull**** and blatant cheating (diving) that is abundant in almost every game. it is this fundamental blight in the sport that will never see it take off in Oz to the same level as other sports. why do you think it's played in summer here as opposed to winter everywhere else? because there is no afl or nrl to clash with it, as if there was they would get 200 to a game instead of 2000 i personally have watched a few a-league games and enjoyed them, predominently due to the Roar and the style they play. as long as diving is involved i may watch but i will never be a fan...a huge difference between a spectator and a fan
