Boxers lie about their height all the time nowdays. Tyson would be 6`2 if he started today

All boxers/boxers PR people exaggerate their height except the Klitschkos, who undersell it.

 

yeah it's kind of funny how Wlad says he is 6'5". He is probably a hair under 6'7" really. Probably 90% of guys lie about their height, or give it with them wearing their big chunky shoes.

 

I think Wlad actually is 6'5 although is listed by most as 6'6.

What's Haye? 6'3 or there abouts. I'm not seeing more than a 2 inch difference here. Wlad has almost an extra 1 inch in hair length over Haye as well.

Vitali though seems a lot closer to the 6'7 he's usually listed as by most.

Haye isn't 6'3, but if he was, from that picture, Wlad is 6'7/6'8, which he isn't

 

A lot of boxers height isnt correct, I was watching foireman vs quawi the other day and no way was the guy 5.5 he seems taller than that.
Same with mike being 5.10 instead of 6 and wlad being 6.7 rather than 6.5

 

These photoshoots say nothing tbh, its when they enter the ring where you can really see the size difference.
Usually in Klitschko fights they are wearing flat shoes and the opposing fighter is on lifts so the difference does not seem as radicial.
Remember how Arreola did not look that much shorter than Vit untill they actually got in the ring?
Same with Wlad and Haye once they got in the ring.
Now they did the opposite with Haye vs Fraudley, they put A-Bumb on lifts to make him seem like a giant when the difference in the ring was really just a inch or so.

Mind you Wlad is a good bit taller than Audley.

 

Well if Haye's less than 6'3 than Wlad must be much shorter. From that picture if you put a ruler across from the top of Haye's head to Wlad then it's just above Wlad's eyebrow.

Now here comes the science part.
Then you have to factor in that Wlad is likely to have a slight added bit of extra height from wearing suit shoes that tend to have a heel. That would be counter balanced by Haye likely wearing trainers with air in them though. Plus Wlad's extra 1 inch in height from his hair.

There is no more than a 2 or 3 inches maximum difference in size.

However some pics are pretty telling, espesh when Wlad is consistantly the same size compared to Davey Boy

Wlad has consistently looked over 6'5

And Haye has never looked 6'3
