Trainer of the year . . . Anne Wolfe?

I think Anne has a great shot at becoming trainer of the year. Yeah, she only has one major fighter in her camp but what a job she did with him. Kirkland went from getting embarrassed by Ishida to destroying the destroyer Angulo. I think this is one of the greatest rebuilding processes in boxing history and I think Anne deserves recognition for her great effort.

Two fighters he has have done quite well with the other . . . well not so much

I do not know about that Kirkland looked like a complete fighter in there against AA. great footwork, vastly improving D, straight quick combo's. I think the motivational side is what sets her apart.

Kirkland would be nothing without her, the same thing people were saying about Pac when Roach starting collecting hardware.

I agree Garcia is a great Trainer but I think Donaire has grown as much as he can underneath him and Rios should have made weight and it left him vulnerable to limited opposition. Tony had did not protect his eye the whole fight which is another huge blunder.

So i think Garcia has made some huge blunders that have cost his fighters (over this year) while it is undeniable that Anne has taken Kirkland far beyond where he was since he took his vacation. This year she did a better job but if you are looking at the work with the fighters since they started with the trainer I think this year it is Garcia

 

I think fans (and fighters) underestimate her because she is a woman. I thin because of Kirklands performance her stable will grow quickly.
