The pascal Taylor and kessler fights were all good to watch. It's his interviews that annoy me. The way he talks about the Dirrell fight pisses me off. Recently read one where he. Said the reason he didn't look great against Johnson was because he knew Ward was there and he didn't want to give away too much. Some of the stuff he says is pure shite but at least I remember it. Everything about Ward just becomes a big grey boring memory after a couple minutes

I love Froch, although he has become overrated. But he's great to watch and you have to respect his will to fight the best all over the world. His cocky trash-talking is pretty hilarious too. Ward will likely school him though.

When you say his record should contain "at least two more losses on it", which fight are you referring to other than the Dirrell one?

Personally im not Froch's biggest fan, but you can't help but like him after his recent performances. However he does come off as arrogant in his interviews

Oh come off it Barlow FFS , I would have thought you liked Froch for the way he fights? You was slagging Burns of recently because he's boring in the ring?

Pascal fight was a close fight, this myth he battered Jean is bull****. They slugged it out for 12 rounds and the guy got the nod on all close rounds.

Taylor fight is what bugs me, the guy was beat, 10 rounds he done **** all and got boxed and beat up by a washed up Taylor, same Taylor Abraham managed to destroy and defeat in better style. That was one serious lucky win.

Dirrell beat Froch, everyone knows it, way he bangs on about this fight and compare it to how he claimed Kessler robbed him it's all bull****.

Kessler won that fight and he lost to Dirrell, but he has him winning the Dirrell easy and he got robbed by the Danes

Ward destroyed Kessler, yet Froch lost to him even after that and lets face it Kessler was past his best.

All his fights against the decent fighters seem to have some luck involved, the Abraham win was good, but all it proved was how overrated we all rated Abraham more than anything.

Froch stands no chance, i respect him for fighting who he did at the time but suddenly hes some legend when 12 months back he was a above average british fighter. When you break down his record thats all he is.

He is great to watch when he is fighting someone who comes to fight like Kessler, but look at Johnson fight he was so frustrating watching him hes so lazy at times in his work rate.

As i say the stuff outside the ring, his interviews and way he talks really makes me dislike him.

Still i respect him more than Calzaghe as unlike that ***** Froch fought the best and dodged no one.

They didn't 'slug it out for 12 rounds', Froch's angled jab was the difference in the final third.

No point giving a rational explanation, Barlow will just dig his heels in and pretend that he's got a point.

you have gotta love this attention seeker he gets knocking up daft threads that appear only designed to get attention rather than any kind of intellectual debate going, i mean you would think being made to look like a total mug by billy nelcon, jane couch and ricky burns would be enough attnetion even for this twat

Also, who is saying 'he's a legend'? He's a quality fighter, but I think most would reserve bestowing him with the 'great' tag unless he beats Ward and them goes on to do more.

Froch has performed at the highest level despite lacking a big punch, handspeed, and having very little in the way of reflexes or defence. I think it's a testament to his grit, will and ability to work hard. I respect that in him, and I respect the fact that he's shrugged off poor showings and convincing losses.

If he needs to be in denial in order to carry on with confidence, so be it. We've seen a lot of fighters absolutely finished after one loss in the last decade, Froch is old school in that respect.

Shock horror he looked like dog**** against one of the new breed of amateur talents that thinks being completely negative is 'good boxing' (got DQ'd for this **** back in the day) Dirtell is athletically gifted, but a dreadful operator. He usef his natural advantages and Froch looked crap. Oh, wow, you think he'd be ****ed after thathesis fallacies must've been there for everyone to see, surely.

Kessler beating him clearly must surely have been the final nail in the coffin?

The Kessler fight was a competitive loss, despite not being at his best Kessler was still able to make a significant stylistic adjustment, and it wouldn't be the first time a faded talent has got the better of a fresher opponent in a competitive matchup.

I don't like hearing the man speak all the time...but what a great run of fights he's had. The last 3 years he has been fighting the best the division can offer and has done it with some good fights.

Think all the Brits should get behind this guy...Its better late than never!

'Dirtell' is a typo BTW, but more than apt so I'm leaving it in.

Froch ain't perfect is what I'm saying in short. I'm just not particularly fussed, reaching the upper echelons in a packed division by trying hard and working with what he has? Enough to be a fan IMO.

I agree that was a close fight, but had Froch winning 7-5.

Lucky maybe, but what a ****ing finish! You can't beat a come from behind knock out in the last ten seconds.

Don't you find that level of delusion kind of hilarious?
