look at the gay *** heavy of yours, lennox lewis. if ever there was an over rated, over hyped chinless poofter heavyweight, it is that chump.

have a look at the fights of george foreman, ernie shavers, weaver, larry holmes, buster mathis, george chavulo, oscar bonavena, jimmy ellis, some of the ali-frazier fights. ken norton, ron lyle, etc. have a look at their old fights.

Jennings looked **** scared from the opening bell, Lockett actually landed some pretty good shots against Pavlik (don't believe me? go watch it closely again) but clearly looked like a light-middle against a middle, Locketts nose and mouth was busted open after the first KD, and his entire forehead started swelling IMMEDIATELY after he took the second knee. so to say he just folded and took a knee because he had no fight in his is BS.

Sure, Locketts attitude towards boxing in general leaves a lot to be desired, but yes, he did come to have a go, and his face told the story of the damage those shots were doing to him, his knees were giving out before he took those knees, it's not like he was thinking "Meh, couldn't be bothers, just give me my money"

I go on there somedays, there trashtalk bit is funny as well as time when they had a thread asking how to score rounds/fight :rofl.

 

I dont under estimate 'our fighters' on the whole. If you think of our population size- which is such a small % of the increasingly(with the likes of cuba & eastern bloc countries now in the pro's) global sport of Boxing. I think we do really well and should be proud of the current state of our scene.
If you look at the current depth we have- For e.g going from LW up to HW we have 8 guys in the top 10 (box rec- & that does include O Alofabi!) only U.S.A! & Mexico have more than us. The Germans are round about the same, but most of their guys joined up from other countries!.In such a global sport- it surley shows we are doing ok!. The weights below LW we dont have any- but have a few knocking on the door. And these are normally weights dominated by countries with lots of small people!.Also our rankings in Europe are superb! to a point I doubt they have ever! (could be wrong) been so dominant.
So as a whole (regardless of weather or not world boxing is as strong as it once was- bygone days are not relavant to me) I'd say were in extremly good shape- and not many other countries can match the overall depth that we have and also potientally have coming through the ranks.
