Hello BK99, I watched their last contest at ringside courtesy of young Paddy C, and thought up until the ref started warning Egan for his "infringments" that Kenny was old manning Ward out of it. The warnings changed Egans gameplan, made him take more chances than he would normally. Their much anticipated rematch will be another closely fought affair, I'm certain of that. I'm sure Ward has improved since their first meeting, and Kenny will want revenge. IMO it's a real 50/50, a contest that I wouldn't bet big money on the outcome.

Irish boxing seems cursed with all the shows cancelled or fighters getting injured

Well hopefully it goes ahead now in Dublin in the new year, Preferably February when people start to get a bit of money together after the Xmas, It was probably a bad idea having it so close to xmas anyway, I for one would have gone over to Liverpool at any other time of the year but simply wouldnt have been able to afford it at this time of the year and Im sure Im not the only one who feels this way.

Paddy Gallagher had a great win in the WSB, beating a guy who beat JJJ twice last season.

I agree Kenny- i think he has a great chance- he looked somewhat comfortbale untill the warnings. You can never write off Joe Ward, but Egan is sparing him and seems confident.

Gutted for Ormond- looked like he had got his break through chance.

Paschal Collins is pretty confident of the title fight going ahead, just at a different venue and even on the same night.
Says he's gonna be having the rest of the lads training all through Christmas because Francis ****** will be delivering fights for them in January.
